Some examples of how we manage our business responsibly are:

• Our residents and our staff, including the kitchen staff, recycle paper, cardboard, plastics, and glass.
• We encourage residents to use disposable products as little as possible to do our part in reducing landfill accumulation.
• Whenever available, we purchase locally grown produce to help support the local farmers.
• We host Personal Safety and Self Defense Seminars to help students protect themselves from potential trouble.
• Our landscape is maintained completely pesticide-free and uses only plants from the local habitat, Landscaping Nature’s Way.
• We offered no-cost and low-cost room and board to students who were displaced from their schools and homes because of Hurricane Katrina.
• We host food drives to collect edible goods for those people in Lane County who are in need.
