The Collegian
Management and Staff Management
and staff are in the building during the work day attending to
residents' needs and daily business. The live-in Resident Manager, Elizabeth,
and Resident Assistant, Nelson, are available in the
evenings and on the weekend to help residents with routine requests as
well as manage emergencies in the building.
Colleen, Housekeeper: (center)
Colleen has been a member of The Collegian Staff since September of 2006. Colleen is a native Oregonian and has lived in the Eugene area since 2006. She has traveled and visited each state but Oregon is still her favorite. She loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys “puttering” around the yard, gardening, nature, vacations and always has a book that she’s reading.
Elizabeth, Resident Manager: (far left)
Elizabeth is from California. She studied Environmental Studies and Business at the University of Oregon and is currently taking pre requisites for graduate school as well as studying for the GRE. In her free time she likes to run, rock climb, practice yoga, garden, read, travel, and volunteer. This is Elizabeth’s first year as Resident Manager at the Collegian and she is “excited to live and work with such a great group of people”.
Jeff, Operations Manager: (far right)
Jeff joined The Collegian team in February of 2007. He is a native of Eugene and graduated from the University of Oregon in 2002 with a Major in Marketing and Minor in Economics. Jeff has prior experience in Event and Project Management and has held management positions in Marketing, PR, Customer Service and Sales. For fun, he coaches long distance runners of all ages, runs competitively, and generally enjoys all endurance sports. He is also an oudoor enthusiast and frequently backpacks into lakes in the Oregon Cascades to go fishing and enjoy nature.
Nelson, Resident Assistant: (second from left)
Nelson has been with The Collegian since 2008 and is a senior at the University of Oregon, majoring in both Marketing and Economics. His two passions include sports and music. He graduated from Elmira High School with a 4.11 GPA. He ran both cross country and track in high school and was a State Runner-Up in the Men's 3000 meters for his division. His dream job would be working in a marketing department for a professional football or basketball team.
Patrick, Maintenance: (second from right)
Patrick has worked at the Collegian for 7 years. He’s a non-traditional student at the UO majoring in International Studies with a Human Rights and Conflict Management professional focus. For the past two seasons he has been a drummer in the UO Dance department's African troupe, Dance Africa. After studying with guest artists from Mali, Burkina Faso, Malawi, and Senegal, he toured local elementary schools offering performances for schools with suffering arts programs.
The Collegian
Owners
The owners of The Collegian designed and built The Collegian based on
what they learned when their children were going off to college. The Owners
are still closely involved with The Collegian's management, operations and
residents. Owners and management communicate on a daily basis to assure
operations are running smoothly and that the residents' expectations are being fulfilled.

We are located on the southwest Corner of 18th and Alder in Eugene, close to campus and the University shopping district. The main University library, the Knight Library, is just a few blocks away. For those coming to town without cars, we are also right on the public bus line.
