ACADEMIC YEAR ADMITTANCE CRITERIA
- Identification: Provide copy of driver’s license or other government-issued picture identification.
- Student Status:
Applicant must be a college student with a verifiable history of dedication to academic pursuits.
- Lifestyle: Applicant must have a history of and desire to live a calm, quiet, respectful lifestyle.
- Financial responsibility:
Applicant must have a co-signer with the financial means to take responsibility for the complete length of the Lease. Payment for each academic term must be given to a representative of The Collegian prior to move-in and prior to the first day of each semester.
- Demeanor & Behavior:
Applicant must
- have a proven record of abiding by rules (including drinking, drug,
and all other state and federal laws),
- agree to abide by
The Collegian Code of Conduct as described in the Lease,
- have a satisfactory Future Resident Interview with a manager of The
Collegian who will consider attitude and demeanor of the applicant
during the application process, and
- provide names and numbers of personal references who will be
interviewed as part of the application process.
- Criminal History:
Applicant must not have been convicted or received deferred adjudication for any felony offense, a sex-related offense, a class A misdemeanor offense classified as an offense against a person or any drug-related offense (felony or misdemeanor). This requirement does not constitute a guarantee or representation that residents currently residing at The Collegian have not been convicted of a felony, deferred adjudication for a felony, or crime against a person. Applicant must authorize a criminal background check as part of the application process.

We are located on the southwest Corner of 18th and Alder in Eugene, close to campus and the University shopping district. The main University library, the Knight Library, is just a few blocks away. For those coming to town without cars, we are also right on the public bus line.
